Opt-In Form For WordPress

I have had a lot of people ask me how to add their opt-in form to their WordPress blog lately. I know to some people this can seem like a daunting task but it’s really not that hard at all.

1] Login to your backoffice of whatever autoresponder you use. [I use TrafficWave because of the extra benefits and features.] You will then choose whatever campaign you want people to sign up for. For an example I use TEProfits.

You will then look for [create capture pages] click there and a new page will pop up. You then want to click on [generate capture page form]. You will then see the code that you can use to copy and paste into your WordPress blog.

2] After you have copied your code for your autoresponder go to your WordPress blog backoffice and under appearance on the left hand side you will see widgets. Click that and it will open up a new page that will show you alot of cool widgets that you can apply.

The one you are looking for though is the one that says [text] click that. Now a box will open up and that is where you will put your code in. Above the box you will have a title, you can put in info on why people should sign up there.

3] After that is done you will have options on where to place your opt-in form. You want to have it located at or near the top where people do not have to scroll too far down. Then press save and check to see if it appears as you like. You can always go back and tweak it following the same steps.
